Through funds raised during the Karura Moonwalk 2019 event, the construction of a Sand dam was completed in Makueni County of Machakos district. This was in partnership with APA Apollo Foundation, and we are happy to report that the dam is now filled with water after the rains. This will greatly assist the local community in this semi arid region, where water is a precious commodity.
