The success of Sukuma Twende's first Moonwalk led to the second one being organised on 21st September 2019 and marked the first-ever nightwalk to be held at the famous Karura Forest. With almost 6 months of planning going into the project, it was the biggest event we held in 2019. 

The event was powered by Osho Chemical Industries and various other corporates came on board as sponsors, where a record 2500 tickets were sold.

Entertainment included a pre-walk yoga stretch, followed by dancers and a mini-concert from our Sukuma juniors.

Proceeds from this event were used for a range of our welfare projects during the COVID pandemic, donation of computers and books to schools, as well as The Sand Dam construction in Wote Constituency
